Ballet
Floor Barre |
|
Floor
barre adapts the classical ballet barre routine
to be done in floor exercises while emphasizing
anatomical principles of alignment. The physical
structure is centered, lengthened and
strengthened. Tension is released while maximum
turnout and extension are developed. Without the
pull of gravity, correct alignment and movement
become part of the dancer's muscular memory. Schedule

SCHOLARSHIPS
|
|
The
School has an extensive scholarship program for
students of exceptional talent who have
demonstrated professional potential and/or whose
financial situations necessitate assistance with
expenses. Scholarships range from ballet class
tuition only, to awards to be applied to
tuition, transportation and ballet attire.
Parents of students recommended by MTP’S
faculty or auditioners for scholarship
assistance must complete an application to
determine whether their financial situations
justify scholarship aid, and, if so, to what
